Paired with a cold glass of Okinawan beer or a local shochu, the meal becomes an unforgettable experience.

The drinks menu at Ma-Chinu Ya complements the food perfectly, offering a selection of locally crafted beverages that elevate the meal. • Very authentic Okinawa local food. We ordered several dishes and the employee even cooked the fish in 2 ways. One was sashimi and another one was grilled. We had a good time. Will def come here again.

  • It’s very delicious. And the master is so kind. I’m sure that it is the best place in Okinawa.

  • Vibes? Phenomenal Food? Exquisite Fish? Fresh Booze? Plentiful We heard this place was busy but decided to give walking in a try anyway and succeeded! They kindly let us in 15 minutes before their last order. The menu is all in Japanese and Google translate isn't 100% accurate, so beware. For my fellow non-Japanese tourists, here are my recommendations: Fresh fish - they make it half sashimi and half a prep of your choice (grilled, fried, boiled, etc) Squid Jushi Chicken Chanpuru (if you're not a fan of the bitter melon like we are) Agu pork steak Seaweed tempura

  • Japanese knowledge probably required to deal with the menu. Large selection of awamori and okinawa style izakaya dishes. Delicious.
